The successful candidate will join our dedicated applications team, enjoy loads of freedom and become a critical member of our strong IT Operations group.
You will be responsible for the availability and performance of key trading applications and systems. In this role you will learn about Optivers trading applications in detail, be involved in identifying and resolving trading problems, as well as actively improving the performance of those applications, and the systems that they run on.
Essential Criteria:
- Passion to work in challenging environment
- Min 3 yrs exp of Linux/UNIX System administration
- Experience in Shell scripting such as Bash/Perl
- A proactive customer focused attitude
Desirable:
- Windows SA experience
- Good understanding of TCP/IP
- ITIL knowledge
